What's better than student-led worship on your first Sunday on campus? Worship with glow sticks on your first Sunday on campus. Start your semester by taking care of your spirit. We'll wrap up in time for you to make it to see the Lighting of the Bell Tower.
Ice Cream Sundaes
Monday, 8/18, 5:00 PM until the Ice Cream's Gone, Polk Place (in front of Wilson Library)
Celebrate making it through the first day of class with an ice cream sundae--w/ all the toppings--before Sunset Serenade! We'll start scooping at 5 PM, and scoop until the ice cream is gone.
Donuts in the Pit
Tuesday, 8/19, 10:00 AM until the Donuts are Gone, The Pit (in front of Student Stores)
Just what it sounds like, come by the Pit to get a free donut on your way to or from class (or just because). We'll start giving them out at 10 AM and go until they are gone!
Movie & Game Night
Friday, 8/21, 5:00-7:00 PM, Wesley Building (201 E. Rosemary St.)
Come watch a movie, play some games, and/or do some coloring. Plus, we'll have free food for the first 50!
The Wesley Building is the yellow building on the corner of Rosemary and Henderson Streets, across Rosemary street from Tru.
Service Event

We're still working on the plans for this, but start your semester with a time of service int he community.
First Wesley Dinner & Worship
Sunday, 8/23, 6:30-8:30 PM, University UMC (150 E. Franklin St.)
Kick-off the year of Dinner & Worship with a free meal at 6:30 PM in the University UMC Fellowship Hall followed by worship in the Chapel. Worship starts around 7:30 PM.
We'll have people at the church doors and throughout the building to make sure you know where to go! Once you come inside, we'll have plenty of signs to help you find your way.
University UMC is on Franklin Street, right across from Sutton's. It's the church with doors out front.
