UNC Wesley Campus Ministry is a community focused on helping each other hear God's voice and grow into the people God is calling us to be.  We do that through worship, small groups, retreats, mission trips, social events, community service, outreach on campus--pretty much everything you can think of a church or youth group doing--and if you have new ideas, we'd love to hear them.

Sunday Dinner & Worship

Sundays at 6:30 PM:  Wesley Dinner & Worship is held on Sunday Nights at University United Methodist Church (150 E. Franklin St, across from Sutton’s).  We begin with a free meal at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall (in the basemen) and then move to the Chapel for worship at 7:30 PM for a student-led worship service. t

Freshley

Wednesdays 8-9:30 PM:  Freshley is more than a small group; it's your first-year experience at Wesley. Freshley is all about helping you find your place in God’s story, at Carolina, and in Wesley.  Each week will begin with ice breakers and games to help you meet other first-years, and then then a small group time to connect Scripture to your life as a first-year student.

Upperclass Small Groups

Meeting at different times throughout the week, Upperclass Small Groups are all about connecting Sophomores  through Grad Students to do life together, figuring out  what it means to live a Christian life, both while at Carolina and also to talk about what God is calling us to do with our lives after graduation.

Retreats

Retreats are a time to get away from campus for a weekend each semester to really take time to connect with God, the Gospel, and others.  They are a mix of Sabbath rest, worship, making new friends, small group time, and a whole lot of fun.

Missions

Since 2019, we have been developing a long-term, sustainable partnership with Iglesia Metodista Obispo Francis Asbury, our partner church in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.  We are learning that the relationship is helping both ministries grow into the communities God is calling us to be.

Social Hangouts

And, we just have a lot of fun:  from football watch parties to yoga to movie nights; from official events to hanging out in the Wesley Building; from Spiritual care nights to late night exam study sessions (fueled by many, many snacks),  Wesley is your place to relax, make friends, or just take a break from the stress of college.
