This semester’s theme is “Word: An Exploration of the Powerful, Challenging, and Life-Changing Task of Studying the Living Word of God!”

Hang out with friends, old and new, as we learn how to explore God’s word—and did we mention it’s at the beach? In short, it’s a weekend of worship, small groups, rest, renewal, community building, games, food, and a free t-shirt.

2019 Spring Break Mission Trip

March 10-16*, Bayamon Puerto Rico

This trip is currently full, but you can sign up for the wait list here!

$100 Registration Fee and a commitment to raise the remainder of the funds as a team.

Come on this inaugural trip to begin building a relationship between UNC Wesley and Iglesia Metodista Obispo Francis Asbury in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Possible activities include providing meals at a rehab program, helping paint the church, and visiting Old San Juan. But the most important part of the trip is building a relationship with our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico and seeing how God is at work on the island.

This trip is currently limited to 16 participants, but if more folks are interested, we will keep a wait list, explore ways to expand the trip, or offer another trip during Spring Break.

We will have an interest meeting on Thursday at 1 PM in the Wesley Loft (on Franklin St, up the alley steps next to Sutton’s).

*Trip dates are subject to change depending on flights; however, we will not leave before the Duke basketball game on 3/9.

**All registrations are online. You can pay your registration fee online with debit or credit card, or you can pay your registration fee by Venmo, Cash, or Check, use the promo code “VENMO” and then either send your payment through Venmo to @uncwesley or deliver your Cash or Check to the Wesley Loft (157 E. Franklin St, Ste. 1—on Franklin, up the alley steps next to Sutton’s). If neither Ryan nor Laura are in the Loft, you can slide your payment under Ryan’s door.

***If this trip “sells out” e-mail Ryan to join the waitlist. We will do everything we can to work with our hosts to expand this trip, or create a second trip so that everyone can have a meaningful Spring Break Mission Experience.

Check out what we've got going on!
